The initiative, fully approved by the Ministry of Agricultural Resources, was promoted by production and services companies that deal with the most varied aspects of the agricultural and food industry chain - from nurserymen to seed producers, from fresh and dried fruit and vegetables to new technology, from refrigerated transport and preservation to maritime transport and packaging. The consortium’s financial partner is the Unibanca - Cassa di Risparmio di Cesena banking group.
